I had a Maryland bridge to replace my front left tooth. It was very unreliable and fell out all the time. Although when it got loose it would generally stay in my mouth. I was in the lake swimming and low and behold it fell out in 10ft deep murky water never to be seen again and I have a gap in my mouth that needs to be replaced.
I didn't think it was a big deal, I'm active duty military and have full dental. I went to the dentist and got an appointment to see the dentist the next day, well all the dentist did was replace a defective filling I fussed a little bit about and made an appointment for a regular bridge and month and a half later. This was terrible, I wasn't even offered a flipper while I waited for my appointment and the unfortunate thing about the Army is that I can't just find the next available dentist I go where they send me.
The product:
I ordered the Temptooth with Priority shipping for an extra $2 on Thursday and expected it Monday. I wish I would have checked my mailroom it arrived Friday morning (the day after I ordered it). The product definitely took me longer than 15 mins the first time. It will take you about 30 mins to get the idea of what you are doing. I heated mine up in some really strong tea and I used the hot tea the whole time I worked on my first tooth. Unless you bleach your teeth or something it will look unnatural with out using tea. Overall it took me and hour to get an amazing looking tooth! This first tooth will end up being my back up because when I pressed back against my tooth it hardened with my thumb print so it is kinda rough. I'm going to make a second more comfortable tooth tonight now I know what I am doing, I can imagine this second tooth even taking me 10 mins. It's just that easy!

The author calls Christ-followers to commit to a one year radical experiment:

4. Spend your time in another context.
5. Commit your life to a multiplying community.
Radical is a cross between John Piper's Desiring God, John MacArthur's The Gospel According to Jesus, Walter Chantry's Today's Gospel, and The Cost of Discipleship by Bonhoeffer. It is a serious book for serious followers of Christ. Indeed, "Your life is free to be radical when you see death as reward."
Platt continues a theme that Piper has stressed for years, namely - God is the Gospel: "This, we remember, is the great reward of the gospel: God himself. When we risk our lives to run after Christ, we discover the safety that is found only in his sovereignty, the security that is found only in his love, and the satisfaction that is found only in his presence. This is the eternally great reward, and we would be foolish to settle for anything less."
One of my best friends from Belarus has summed up the essence of Platt's work: "In the final analysis, the only the thing that matters is a relationship with God and relationship with people." Belarussian Christians are truly living radical Christian lives!
Radical is God-centered, Christ-saturated, biblical, thought-provoking, passionate, Great Commission-minded.
